I booked a non-smoking room but the unit had very strong smoke smell when We first got in. It was obvious that the previous customer smoked! It was terrible, we had to open all the windows for a long time to get rid of the smoke smell. We couldn’t get a different room because we were told that was the last one available. "

"Absolutely loved this hotel. The self check in is confusing at first but you sort it out in the end. Super clean and you get access to other facilities at the Gran Hotel. However the communication was a bit confusing as we didn’t realise what we had access to on the last day there. Staff were so helpful when we left luggage with them. The bathroom is the best! "

Go past the main building & sharp turn right immediately down a narrow steep ramp. Liked the coffee machine in room. Only complaint no plugpoint next to bed to charge phone. "The Aurea Washington Irving is a luxurious hotel. The rooms are exquisitely appointed from the bathroom amenities, the coffee and tea service and the bathroom which has a separate tub and bidet. The room was immaculately clean. The staff is incredibly attentive, multilingual and just a pleasure to deal with. The location is within walking distance to the entrance to the Alhambra and C30 and C32 shuttle buses stops are a few steps from the hotel. No parking at their property, but they use a car park and the valet will drive back and forth. It is just a gem."

"My experience at the Puerta de Granada hotel, Spain was satisfactory. The hotel is clean, the rooms are comfortable, it has all the amenities and is very well located. The hotel has a rooftop restaurant terrace that is very nice and pleasant to be in. The hotel staff is very professional, friendly, and helpful, especially Rosario from the front desk."
