Beautifully restored in a traditional Provencal style, Domaine de la Vène can accommodate up to 22 guests across 11 bedrooms, split between the main house and an adjoining cottage. The property has a swimming pool and a pool house, two kitchens, a prep kitchen, a dining room, two reception rooms (one of which is a cinema room), and multiple outdoor seating areas. Sitting in the foothills of the Pyrenees, there is a wonderful amount to explore in this culturally rich region of the South of France - wine tours and cooking lessons, wild swimming spots, amongst various other activities. The medieval city of Carcassonne is nearby, and there are beautiful beaches within a day trip distance (Gruissan Plage is 75km).
The house is wonderfully private, set back from any roads and with land as far the eye can see (the whole estate is 630 acres), it is a breathtaking unspoilt Mediterranean landscape.
TRANSPORT
● There is a free-to-use parking area next to the house.
✈ The property is perfectly located only a half-an-hour drive from Carcassonne. Toulouse Airport is a 1.5-hour car ride away, and Montpellier Airport is a 2-hour car ride from the property.

HOUSE RULES
JOIVY wants you to have a fantastic stay, and we encourage you to see this property as a home away from home. There are, however, a few points we politely ask guests to note before their arrival and throughout their stay:
– Strictly no smoking, no parties
– Dispose of rubbish appropriately.
– Keep the property clean and tidy.
– Whilst washing up and stripping the beds at check-out would be appreciated, it is by no means expected.
– Quiet hours are between 10 PM and 9 AM. So please keep the noise down and respect the neighbours in the building.
– Please remember to close all windows and doors when leaving.
– Careful attention to the keys is extremely important. Guests are responsible for any additional costs resulting from misplaced keys or locksmith call-outs.
– To ensure the safety of our current and future guests, we ask all guests to complete our online check-in form and to provide a valid form of identification.
