"Very impressive entrance. The whole castle vibe starts at the entrance iron gates and the sentry box. Narrow country laneway winds around the castle to the Lodge accommodation passing car parks and gardens. Be mindful of buses and cars coming the other way. "This property was exactly as the photos showed on the website. Very clean and in a handy location. The staff were extremely helpful. Great communication and they did exactly as they said they would. The beds were not overly comfortable, quite hard. This however is really depends on what kind of bed you prefer to sleep on. Overall totally impressed and great value for money. "

"The place was tidy, a good location, close to 24 hour grocer, a bit of work going on at the time we stayed so there was scaffolding all around but that was ok, easy parking, easy access to more towels and condiments if you needed them, the only let down was the noise from the other room (which can’t be helped) and the kitchen was not equipped with what we needed with 4 people staying. Ie: 1small pot to cook other then that it was ok"
