The property is nice and the staff is nice as well. The hotel is directly across from a beautiful park and walkable to an unlimited number of restaurants in bistros and bars. The metro is 100 m away. Unfortunately, the air conditioning wasn’t working and we could not open our windows at night because a bistro directly below us left cigarette smoke billowing into our bedroom. They were kind enough to move us to another room.

It is at a prime location. However the toilet has a strong odor and the hair dryer is a joke because it constantly shuts off after overheating.

"AC works well. Location is excellent, close to all forms of transportation as well as neighborhood restaurants. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The building is a bit older but well-kept. All in all, I am glad I stayed at Du Simplon."
