"The Surfing Turtle" is a top 3rd floor, walk up condominium unit with majestic and unobstructed ocean views that make you want to drop everything and gaze out on the Atlantic. The eastern side of the living room features wall-to-wall glass including a sliding door; you won’t miss out on nature’s beauty and you may even see some dolphins. When you are ready to get out on the beach, you will appreciate the private access to a beautiful stretch of sand located between Lifeguard stations 9 and 11.

You will enjoy time spent cooking with your family in the stunningly updated kitchen with stainless appliances and granite countertops. Two bedrooms with Queen size beds, two baths, and an open living room with sleeper sofa located in the living room give you ample amount of space to accommodate 6 people. Televisions in both bedrooms, new flooring throughout and a new dining room set will make your family feel comfortable and welcomed. All the tv's have transitioned to streaming provided by Roku, offering options for the whole family!

Coral Surf is an oceanfront condominium community located just two blocks from the lake, and a 12-minute walk to the Carolina Beach boardwalk. Coral Surf boasts a community pool, private beach walkway and rinse-off shower all included with your reservation.

Treasure by the beach
My Mom and I had a girls get away to the beach. The condo was a true gem. We had amazing laughs, rumikub watching the sunset and a beach chair by the suba divers looking for treasure. A truly wonderful place. Thank you!

Beautiful deck veiw
I wanted a condo with perfect ocean veiw and this was it. Nice sized deck. Well decorated and stocked with everything we needed. We did have to grab extra toilet and paper towels. Quality of both was useless. Stepping out on the ocean sand direct from condo and being walking distance from great food. Try lakeside steak house and sol flavor- excellent!!

Perfect weekend getaway!
Absolutely loved our stay. Condo was very clean and exactly as described. We spent most of our time on the beach and at the boardwalk, which were easily within walking distance. Sunrises on the balcony were beautiful. Very clean and safe feeling neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing location, nice beach house
The location was outstanding, can’t get closer to the beach, and only a 12 minute walk to the boardwalk amusement park. The main living area and kitchen and porch were very nice. The kitchen even had soft-close cupboards and drawers. The bedrooms were nice but they only had blinds and no curtains. This caused for very bright rooms, even at night as the bright parking lot lights across the street shone right through. If you have napping kids bring blackout curtains. The bathrooms were ok. A few simple updates like new shower curtain rod and floor vent covers would make a huge difference as they were rusty. Check-in was annoying that we had to stop by the office just to pick up a piece of paper. The parking passes should be left in the unit and they should email or text the key code. Inconvenient to stop at the office for this, especially with napping kids .

Thought it was pretty tacky that we should have To bring extra soap and toilet paper . Cost of rental was not cheap cheap so $2 worth of soap and toilet paper should be included.

Sunrise views
This condo in Carolina Beach was great! Being on top floor offered stunning views of the sunrise over the ocean. The deck offered plenty of space for me to roll out my yoga mat and enjoy watching the waves while working out. The location is great! This may be the least we drove our car while on vacation since we could walk to the restaurants, the boardwalk and of course just steps away from the beach. The pool is small but was great for just sitting in when we were not quite ready to go inside - plus our 6 year old loved practicing handstands in it since it wasn’t too deep! Be aware it is 48 stairs up to the condo - but those steps just helped us burn off the calories from our Brit’s Donuts so we didn’t mind. The condo was clean, well furnished and I cannot say enough how wonderful the view was. Our party was 2 couples and a child and it was the perfect amount of space for us. Highly recommend!

Cleanliness was questionable
I have to say that it is not the cleanest and with vacationing with a little one who likes to touch everything, it’s the first thing we notice. The floors are quite gross, sand is the exception but there is hair, clothing tags plastic, hair ties, and a variety of other things that stick to your feet. Not only that, there is standing water in the bottom of the dishwasher that puts off quite a foul smell, along with a used sponge for cleaning dishes. I’m not sure if this is supposed to be provided or not but the used one could be disposed of if not. My biggest qualm is that there was hair on the toilet seat and bathtubs/showers which leads me to think and question if the rental was even properly cleaned prior to our arrival. We ended up going out and buying our own cleaning supplies to wipe everything down. Who wants to have to do that on vacation?!

Was very clean. Had everything we needed in the kitchen.. enough space for 4 people to be comfortable. Great balcony with enough seating for 6. Never got to use the pool as it was a little cool out. Easy access to the beach. Bathrooms were the only thing that may need to be updated to match the rest of the unit but still worked just fine! Had an awesome time!

Loved the condo! Overall we all had a terrific time and enjoyed the ocean every day during our stay. Condo was clean and kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. Wish we had a designated place to grill but we were told no grilling on condo grounds. We would definitely stay again!

The Surfing Turtle
We had a terrific time at the Surfing Turtle. The property was beautiful, with everything one could want for a no-worry vacation. We had every meal on the deep, covered deck looking out at the ocean, and I woke early every morning to see the sun rise from that spot. I was further rewarded one morning with the sight of a small fox running along the dune directly in front of the deck. Wonderful.

locked out TWICE
Property uses code system. Locked out twice. Once upon check-in and 2nd time when we had been down on beach and were coming up for drinks, etc. - the code didn't work AGAIN. We had NO KEYS, NO PHONES, NO CAR KEYS, NOTHING. Had to rely on kindness of a lady working in the SCUBA shop to try to contact Bryant Real Estate (property mgmt. firm). Called and got VOICEMAIL - - again I had no phone, no way for them to contact me, now way to get in. Called again and finally got a live person who was absolutely unapologetic but reset the code. This should NEVER have happened. The property mgmt. emergency contact number goes to voicemail!!! And this happened twice. Feel bad for owner - would love to speak with them about it but no contact information available - hence the lower ratings because how can I give a place a good rating that locks you out TWICE and property mgmt. company could care less. This was a potentially dangerous situation and it took time away from our trip.
