Was a great house very clean and everything you could think of needing was there. Communication with the host was great and he even had a fire going for me in the fireplace. I definitely recommend the house for anyone wishing to stay in the area. About 1/2 mile from a road side park on Lake Huron.

Great place near Lake Huron
We could tell they spent some time to make it an easy and eventful stay there with easy check in/out instructions and list of things nearby in a book. I liked how quiet it was. They have chickens and fresh eggs. We saw deer both days. Very nice time.

Clean, any problems that arose were fixed timely. Wanted a quite place to stay at night between day trips. They had almost everything we needed the entire trip. Even toothbrushes, as we forgot ours at the hotel on the way down from NC.

Peaceful setting close to everything!
The house was supplied with everything we needed including a beach umbrella that we would have never thought to bring. The air purifier was also a nice touch. We brought ours from home as we have allergies but the host had already thought of it...as they did everything else! The house was very clean in general; floors were clean and free of debris (the Roomba is handy to have) but could have benefited from a wet mop. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay.

Calm, Cozy and Welcoming
I stayed here with my husband, brother, sister-in-law and sister. We gather from all corners of the country once a year to reconnect. During our stay, we visited the cottage that once belonged to our grandparents and explored the surrounding area The property was extremely well maintained and stocked with more than enough glassware, pots and pans, etc. There was nothing that we felt like we were missing. Everything was as described and in working order. The five of us were more than comfortable. We wouldn’t hesitate to return should we visit the area again!

Great place near Port Sanilac
Overall it is a great home with all the amenities one can expect. Coffee can was full, lots of towels, free eggs from the chickens in the coup (delicious) and great comfort for sleeping.

Lovely home
Loved this house and the location. It felt like home - even had a Christmas tree! Would definitely return. Our only frustration was with VRBO communication. Each time trying to check in, access was denied. When we left Friday morning we did not know if we had the correct address or if we would be able to get in. Have not had this problem before using VRBO but it added a lot of anxiety at the start of an otherwise wonderful weekend.
