The fact is that I missed my flight on Monday January 13th, 2024 and couldn’t make it to this hotel until Tuesday, I called that Monday to advise of the issue and was given 3/4 of what I spent for that Monday in credit to use at the rooftop bar… That is excellent customer service! Let us note the fact that most of the staff members speak English, all of them are attentive and do care about the work they do. The room was spacious, I was pleasantly surprised, it is like I was upgraded and if that is the case, I didn’t even ask for it. The hotel is underrated, I am A New Yorker and my standards are extremely high because I am an avid traveler. Wow, wow, and wow. This is going to be my hotel every time I come to Cartagena, speaking of this city, the hotel is situated across from the famous Cartagena sign. Bruh! I’m also a writer and I normally do not leave extensive reviews (this is my first), thus this hotel deserves all of my praise. Lastly, when you walk in the lobby, there is this sign by the cafe area “hometel” Definitely, this is not a hotel but a HOMETEL. I wasn’t paid to review this but I believe that when an establishment does the right thing, it ought to be highly regarded Your visibility… A must

I stayed for New Years and what a view. I was on the 10th floor and could see all of the fireworks at midnight up on the hill where all the houses were. Carolina was very helpful. The place was great, I would visit again if they take care of the ants, they were everywhere, in the beds, in the kitchen, everywhere. I did report it, and they gave me a can of spray that took care of the problem. Also it took them to long to change the bedding after I reported the ants, about six hours, I felt that was to long. Also we had to continue to spray on the visit once a day. In all fairness, I would stay again, the place is great, I would address the ant problem first. the place was clean, the communication was great, and the view was excellent.

The property aesthetic is beautiful! They have plants all over making it even more appealing. The staff was very friendly,the bartender at the rooftop made the BEST drinks. The pool and the rooftop views were amazing. Security guard Jose made us feel safe and provided great recommendations. The room was clean , there is an ant problem if you leave any food or sweets out so be careful leaving that out. The bathroom shower rainfall head does cause a lot of water spray but just keep your slippers out the way. AC worked great! The jacuzzi worked well! The food was also good. The room had towels , bath wash,shampoo,conditioner and hair dryer. I recommend you bring your wash rags. The room we had was beachfront and king size bed. Tv in room was also a plus ! It was like an apartment fully furnished with great fridge and cooking equipment. I recommend this place & would re book. 15 mins away from Getsemaní but you can Uber for very cheap .
