Casa Nika is located near Carvoeiro, a typical old Portuguese fishing village. Nature lovers will enjoy spectacular cliff top walks (including Seven Hanging Valleys and a walk to Benagil Caves) starting at the doors of the apartment, gold sand beaches and occasional walk in Monchique eucalyptus hills. Fantastic local restaurants with live Fado singers are close by, and so are shops and golf and tennis courses. There is a lot to do for all tastes: sports and leisure, culture, arts, local cuisine, and all within easy reach! Casa Nika is only 30 min drive from the Algarve airport - Faro. Fantastic rental
Stayed here for just under a week with two other friends. Veronica welcomed us with a bottle of local wine, and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. She was super responsive to any questions we had. The place itself was everything we needed and in a fantastic location for us about ~30 minutes walking distance from Carvoeiro itself, but less than 10 minutes from the Seven Hanging Valleys trailhead and beach. It made for really easy day trips to Benegil, Monchique, and Portomao. The temperature during our stay was great, so we just opened the windows at night and it was cool enough to sleep. There were plenty of fans in the bedroom closets had it been hotter, but we didn't try them out. The kitchen was very well set up (dishwasher, stove, oven, lots of dishes), the only thing worth noting in advance is you need to bring all the basics yourself (eg., salt, pepper, oil, etc). This was a bit inconvenient for us coming from North America so we didn't bring anything with us, and then ended up leaving all our leftover staples. But that was minor in our overall experience. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Felt very reasonably priced for the value.

Well maintained complex that is within walking distance to a beach, small supermarket and several restaurants. The apartment was clean and comfortable with all the amenities you would need for your stay. Amazing first time stay in the Algarve
Came over to see friends and was very impressed by the Algarve’s laided back atmosphere and beautiful weather. The place was great and had more than enough room for our family of 5. Great area- close drive to everything. Neighbours were friendly. Pool was great! Would highly recommend!

Winter break
We stayed for two months to escape the British winter. The flat was perfectly suited for our needs. The rooms are generous, the wood burner was cosy in the evenings. Val and Veronica were helpful and charming. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful Lagoa
We had some difficulties with the address that was given. We came via rail from Lagos and were not able to have our Uber driver get to the location without having to call for clarification. The apartment is located in Carvoeiro area but it was a 30 minute walk to town. And The options for restaurants and shopping are limited unless you go into the town. It would have been better if we had a car. The apartment was comfortable and clean and met some nice neighbors and they were able to give us some good information on the area. Did not use the pool because the weather was not very good for that.

Spacious, clean apartment close to everything
We stayed for 6 nights at the begining of June 2022. The condo is perfectly located to visit Benagil Coast. There are several restaurants and grocery store within walking distance. Carvoeiro is 5 min away, Benagil beach is 8-10 min away by car. Albufeira is 30 min away, Faro similar, Tavira 45 min away, Sagres 40. The location was very central. The condo is spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is well equiped. 2 full baths is a plus, as well as a washing machine. There is a great pool about 100 steps away. Veronica is a great host, very pleasant and easy to contact. We enjoyed staying here and would love to come back!

Brilliant place, great and helpful owner.
It was so good to stay in such a nice place. All house was so nice and clean, great tarrace and swimming pool was so good. Nice neighbours and very quiet place...something what you really need for a good rest. The host is very helpful. We really recommend this place for everyone and we are thinking about coming back there again. Thank you so much for a brilliant holiday.

Amazing !!!!!, My kids had an awesome holiday…. perfect location....
The apartment was very clean and homely. Very nice private pool, well maintained & my girls loved it. The apartment was perfectly located, short walk to a lovely beach with a lovely restaurant, they had the most amazing desserts as well. My two girls (aged 8 and 15) loved it, lots of nice things to do around, Slide & splash water park was only a short drive away, the girls had an amazing time. Lot’s of water sports around, the visit to the caves, speed jet boat, it was a fun filled holiday. The Apartment was very clean and well maintained, comfy beds, clean towels and the kitchen was well equipped. Supermarkets were also in close proximity. Veronica was really lovely, very quick to response and provide all the local area details and recommendations. Also, very detailed in driving instructions, we had to call her a few times as this was our first visit to Portugal and she was very friendly and attentive. Above all our flight was quite late on the last day and she was also very accommodating with a late checkout, which we were very thankful for. I have already recommended the place to my friends and it’s perfect for a family holiday. we will surely be visiting again….. Thank you for making our holiday a memorable one,

Good holiday home, lovely swimming pool, near to beach.
House is set in a small development with private pool. It is a well furnished home, very dark, but that helps keep it cool inside. Beds were comfortable and the management company extremely helpful and pleasant. Set in an area of steep hills and lots of steps, it is not suitable for those less mobile. For those who are fully mobile it is a five minute walk down the hill to the beach and 10 mins hike back up to the house. There is little to do or see in the area as tourism has taken over the old charm of years ago. I would recommend this property for families, it is comfortable and spacious with a pleasant terrace.

Die Wohnung ist ganz okay. Aber leider war es bei unserer Ankunft in allen Räumen sehr kalt. Es ging sehr lange bis es einigermassen warm war. Die Betten sind sehr unbequem. Die Matratzen hart. Und zum zudecken nur eine verwaschene Wolldecke und ein Leintuch. Wir haben gefroren in der Nacht. Eine ganz liebe Nachbarin hat uns mit einer Steppdecke und einem Kissen ausgeholfen. Überhaupt sind alle Nachbarn sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage wäre sehr angenehm und gut. Aber leider sind sie im Moment auf dem Nachbargrundstück am bauen. Und das sogar am Sonntag. Aber das geht ja vorbei. Unser Typ an die Vermieter: Vier neue Betten mit guten Matratzen, Duvets und gute Kissen. Die Gäste würden es Ihnen danken. Es würde die Wohnung sehr aufwerten 👍

Wonderful and relax site
A site where we have enjoyed wonderful days in an appartment very well located, near the Centeanes beach, and where we have the opportunity to take nice walks and appreciate the fantastic landscapes of the area. Apartamento con excelente situación y zona tranquila
La urbanización es muy tranquila, con buenos vecinos. Está situada andando a 5 minutos de la playa Vale de Centianes y a 5 minutos en coche del pueblo de Carvoeiro. Las camas son muy cómodas y tiene dos terrazas que facilitan comer fuera dependiendo del momento del día. No le pongo 5 estrellas porque le falta el aire acondicionado y hubo noches calurosas que fue complicado conciliar el sueño a pesar de los ventiladores eléctricos. Situación muy estratégica para visitar todo el Algarve.
