"There are many great hotels in the Sucre area to enjoy- Sadly I would not recommend Villa Antigua. Despite good staff and a nice hotel- I was overcharged for my stay and when I reached out to Expedia to assist in this overcharge I was told the hotel was not willing to explain the amount. Very disappointed in this hotel and the unexplained overcharge. I'd recommend trying one of the many other local hotels."

Carmen ( our host) was very helpful to plan our visit and recommended us not only the main landmarks also the best restaurants. "courtyard of hotel very nice; friendly staff. room was not in greatest shape. old furniture, terrible sulphur smell from the bathroom at all times--the water supply? the drains? did not experience this elsewhere in bolivia. convenient location. they tried hard for breakfast, but basic and was not adventuresome enough to have some of it. some of the other places I stayed in bolivia were better value, but it was okay here. "

"Cristina the host was very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and quiet. The location is excellent close to the main plaza and only 4 blocks away from the airport bus stop.
