"Check in was a nightmare. Family was supposed to meet host at airport with a cot - but he was no where to be found. Directions to villa were very scattered but finally arrived met by housekeeper and shown around the villa. It was old and in need of some updating but very comfortable for our party of 10. Beds and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Pool was lovely although it was still warm enough to swim in the sea. All in all a wonderful holiday."

"We enjoyed our stay in the area. Lots of beautiful countryside and the sea in the distance. the house was great for two couples. You should be aware that a car is essential as there is nothing within walking distance. The coast is 10km down hairpin bends, hence the view! Avola and the surrounding area is lovely, much to see and many beautiful towns and villages. The need to get in the car everytime is a disadvantage, especially in the evenings."

"It is not what is advertised. Not the area you want to be in. Not the property you want to stay at: uncared, weed overgrown yard, inside old, shabby furniture, most primitive everything. Yes there is a roof on the house... We had to stay 1 night because we arrived late, I complained to Fewo right away - they did nothing - and moved out. I asked the owner (on Fewo advice) to reimbourse me some money and got insulted and threatend. Bad experience from beginning to end!"

"Im not sure how to describe this place. The view is unreal, te pictures dont do it justice. The pool is hjge, gardens spotless. Close by access to the sea which was stunning. The main thing i still talk about is the quality of finish and the fixtures in the villa. Everything has been done to the highest standard and just makes staying here a calm oasis in Sicily! "Photos are accurate. A comfortable rustic house with a lovely garden and pool that provides a secluded peaceful haven for a relaxing time. Surrounded by orange and olive groves. Nice cantina in local village and other restaurants 20 min drive away. Key tourist sites in the east of the island are 1-2 hrs away. You will return home very rested. A warm welcome from Franco, the owner, and Francesca who is a very attentive guide for the visitor, always available on WhatsApp, and speaks great English....

Georgia helped me find a local osteopath to treat a recurring back issue, which helped. I do think the house keeping of the rooms need to pay more attention to details – my room wasn’t swept properly and the bathroom has hair from the previous guest. "
