"We had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay at this hotel. Staff were helpful and spoke English. The pool was an added bonus and the location was perfect for us to attend a concert at Alba Fucens' amphitheatre! The only slight negative was that the water pressure in the shower was not stable so it was fine one minute then it surged and was too hot. The only reason I gave it a 4* for the property facilities. Otherwise we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends."

"Lovely hotel with very friendly and accommodating staff. Shuttle picked us up at the train staion which was easy and very helpful. Staff did their best to communicate with using English which was appreciated! The room was lovely, large, clean and comfortable. The hotel restaurant was excellent! Best wine ever!"

Hotel consigliatissimo anche se una piccola cosa non mi è phaciuta: piscina Spa con acqua non a temperatura, ma il tipo della hall pur sapendo ciò, ci ha addebitato ben 10 euro per delle cuffie, dove se l'acqua fosse stata a temperatura non avrei esitato, che poteva anche non farci passare dal momento che siamo entrati e riusciti immediatamente perché non si poteva stare! "Nice large room. Location was a little away from the town centre and about 1/2 km walk to get to it. Restaurant attached to the hotel was awesome and we enjoyed a magnificent steak cooked to perfection. Worth going there just for a steak dinner."

"Not every room looks like the photos on Expedia, however the reality is just as good. It's a very unique place, just completely delightful and wonderful staff. Great restaurant and staff there as well. I would definitely return."

"I love the hospitality of the staff specially receptionist. They are very helpful .. only thing we are not happy about it’s to hot no air condition. Receptionist encourage to open the window. Which we did but the noise is ridiculous. Cleanliness is amazing and except at 2:00 am went to the washroom.. I saw a cockroach walking on my feet.. ayayyy.. no sleep.. "This hotel is a memorable trip back in time. Sextantio purchased and renovated 30 rooms in the village, each one with a different character, charm, and challenge. The rooms were restored with basic amenities, but it is easy to imagine the simple life people lived centuries ago. The atmosphere is reinforced with candlelight and fireplaces. Upon entering the historic dining room or the Cantinone, you may be motivated to take pictures prior to eating your sumptuous breakfast or relaxing with an afternoon drink. Although the evening meal was acceptable, be sure to check out other restaurants in the village that offer local menu options. Our family group was made up of senior citizens (70-80), so we experienced a few challenges during our stay. The cobblestone lanes can be slick, even when dry, so be sure to where sturdy shoes with hiking soles, and walk carefully. Parking is distant from the hotel complex, so ask for assistance when moving your luggage. The bathroom areas in some rooms are very small and minimally lit. Given this historic inconvenience, we weren’t motivated to shower. The village is still recovering from the earthquake of 2009, so cranes and construction crews provide a sobering reminder of the courage and commitment it takes to preserve ancient communities. The dramatic beauty of area mountains is attractive for hikers, but you’ll be sharing dirt roads with bikers as you seek solitude. This was a memorable stay overall, thanks to Sextantio. "
