"Stayed there for one night and cannot recommend this hotel more. Clean new hotel, with outdoor pool and loads of parking. Staff was very helpful and helped us to book a taxi to Matera historic centre. Everything was on time and punctual. And I can’t forget to mention exceptional breakfast with great selection of food of all varieties and exceptional coffee brought straight to our table. "

I loved the idea of being able to stay in surroundings that make this town so The staff are exceptionally friendly & took plenty of time to explain the area & give recommendations which were exceptional! "Almost everything was excellent......except for the fact that it was advertised as providing free parking, and it didn’t. I had to pay for overnight parking in a public garage.....which cost almost $30 for the night. Also, Livingston’s is really a B and B, not a hotel, and, as such, was difficult to find because, even though it’s on the Main Street in Matera, there was only a small sign attached to the building to identify it. I have found that situation in several smaller Hotels.com...

"This is a property in the Sasso Caveoso in Matera, the most incredible and one of the most ancient places on earth. The views of the Sassi and the caves are incredible and the room carved in the rock was spacious and comfortable. I would have added a TV close to the bed and a second sink in the bathroom but altogether the place is great. Very good service ans evryone is superfriendly and helpful. Also great the breakfastr buffet"
