Le pedí que nos cancelara la estancia y me devolviera el dinero, lo hizo de forma tal que él no tuviera que pagar la multa de 300 euros que él debía pagar por no atendernos. "We had a most enjoyable experience at the Parador de Cardona, perched high up in a beautiful location. All the staff, reception, bar and restaurant, were very helpful and professional. Our room at the top of the castle was well-furnished with a large, comfortable four-poster bed and decent bathroom, both with wonderful views. The AC worked very well. Our dinner in the restaurant was delicious and the service perfectly paced, not hurried. As it’s half-way between homes in Spain and France, we very much look forward to our next visit. BTW, if you’re anticipating a comfortable hotel in an 11th century castle, it’s exactly that and I suggest you ignore low-star ratings mentioning lack of “coffee stations” and “pools”, it’s not a motel in MAGA-land, thank goodness! "

"The staff was just SO sweet. Our group of 4 was not in the mood to go out for dinner, so they set up a spread in the kitchen. Somehow we booked the honeymoon suite so were surprised to find a big heart of rose petals on our bed as well as champagne and Cokes. They let us park right out front the entire stay. I could go on, but you get the picture."

"Het huis is heerlijk. Fijne ruime tuin. Met heerlijke ligbedjes, diverse tafels waar je aan kan zitten. Zowel in de zon als in de schaduw. Een fijne barbecue. Het zwembad wordt goed bijgehouden, maar is ongeveer 1.40 diep en alleen een klein strookje is 1.80 diep, maar je kan er prima baantjes trekken en in spelen. De badkamers zijn oud en er mag hier en daar wel wat vervangen worden. De eigenaren zijn heel vriendelijk. Houd er wel rekening mee dat als je gasten laat logeren dat het €45,- pppn kost. Wij dachten dat we alleen maar wat toeristenbelasting moesten betalen. "

Great stay with family.

"We were a family of four staying in a bungalow at the camping location but we also used the main hotel up on the hill and both properties were great. The bungalow was pretty basic but had what we needed and we could walk to the restaurant and sports stuff. The restaurant at the camping location was really great with fast service and delicious vegetarian options. The view at the hotel on the hill is fantastic. Service was great. We will def return "
