"Great quiet spot on beach. A bit of walk to town but easier than trying to find parking and it’s a nice walk along ocean. We had a great room with huge windows looking towards ocean. "The location is perfect. Much less busy than the city of Taormina. The apartment is on a hilltop looking down at a lovely bay and Mozzaro beach. Lots of restaurants with sea views and 3 min walk from bus and taxi stands and the cable cars. Unfortunately the cable cars were under repair during our visit as this would have been super convenient to quickly get up to Taormina. Should reopen soon. Apt was well equipped and host was very helpful. Can’t beat the location. Especially in busy tourist...

"The view of Isola Bella from the private balcony and from inside the family room with large window was breathtaking. House is very spacious with each bedroom having its own private bath & shower. Shower space is bigger than most properties in Italy and water pressure incredible. Host is very responsive and gave us a detail tour upon check-in which we appreciated. There's access to the infinite pool and private rocky beach below with incredible views. The host filled the refrigerator and cabinets...

"We had a great stay at Mike’s place. The space is very nice, lots of room, very light and great views. It’s right across from a playground which our kid was at daily. Short 5 min walk down to the main strip. The only thing which others have mentioned is it is a penthouse and there’s no elevator so you do have to navigate 5 floors of stairs to the unit. We had no issues with this and it’s what give the great views. Great value and would definitely stay here again.!"

"The location in the heart of a small town, the beautiful outside area, the communication with the owner were all excellent. However, we were not prepared for such a tiny kitchen (what you see in the photo is all you get!), the upstairs bedroom has a downstairs bathroom (that is not clear in the listing) and there is only AC in the upstairs bedroom. Overall the villa seems a little small for 4 bedrooms, but we loved our stay and really enjoyed all the positives."

"This Taormina apartment is a gem. Lovely views from two balconies, and an easy walk to Corso Umberto. The apartment itself was clean and modern and had everything we needed. The host was great, but due to a little miscommunication in the beginning, the check-in process was a bit stressful. Overall a lovely stay, and we would stay here again!"

"The hotel is about 20 minutes up a very steep and winding road above Taorimina so it's not convenient to go back and forth. The decor is dated, but the hotel has an old world charm and the setting is beautiful. The back of the hotel looks at Mount Etna and the wonderful pool faces it too. The breakfast was nice and had typical Sicilian pastries. They could update the decorations in the rooms and lobby."

"After a 12 hour trip from Stromboli due to rough seas we were worried we would not be able to check in as we would not attive till gone midnight. On contacting Lorenzo he said this was not a problem. On arrival everything was perfect with even a bottle of fizz waiting for us, a very nice touch. The room was very clean and comfortable and serviced daily to a very high standard. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. A lovely stay would very much recommend. "

"The staff at this hotel were very hospitable. They assisted with plans, dining reservations and provided parking service. Throughout our stay they called to check up on us and ask if everything was to our satisfaction. I felt sick during our stay and they even called to ask how I was feeling and if there was anything I needed. Overall excellent experience at this hotel."
