"This was a magnificent place! Beautiful. Hosts are a wonderful family that invited us into their home. Amazing pool. Make sure to enter from the city. Google took us the long way in on a very tight, windy road. Avoid that. "

Also, the Porta Romana train station is a 6 minute walk - from there you have access to all of Italy. Many excellent restaurants are within a six minute walk - there’s even a great Italian steakhouse, Lo Spito, 50 feet from the condo. The place is a real gem."

We used the villa primarily as a base to get out and see Umbria, e.g., Todi, Spoleto, Spello, Assisi, Montefalco, Orvieto. Gian is the best host possible, always ready to assist, advise, recommend, AND available. A great place and a wonderful host."

"Lovely outlook and very nice house. Description a bit misleading - there are not 2 bathrooms, there is 1 bathroom and a cloakroom. There is no restaurant/ bar in the village, it closed 2 years ago. The bikes were locked away. I had to ask for access details and they were sent late. No signal on the TV for most of our stay. All small things on their own, but not when added up. "This was our first time to Orvieto. This property is at the top of a small mountain facing the village. Wonderful view, especially in the morning with the sun at low angle. The room was clean and comfortable. Free breakfast had many options, and they will cook for you if you wish. We had a car, there was plenty of parking. The owners were at the property while we were there and provided us with lots of information and conversation. Very nice place, but best it is about a 2 mile drive into the village. If your not driving to Orvieto, you may want to consider staying in town. "
