"This place was great. The manager helped us out on all aspects she is a 5 star host. She really went out of her way to help out. Apartment is super clean, had a chance to workout in the gym and run down and get an expresso in the morning. I highly recommend this place to anyone, it was great. "

"Our group of 2 sisters, plus spouses (very fit age 60's, 70's) stayed here mid-September; it is a beautiful location right on the lake. If the weather had been a bit warmer, less windy and rainy, we would have spent more time on the delightful patio. Getting here, however, on the epically windy roads, and down a very steep driveway, and many steps to get to the apartment, makes it challenging if you're not a good driver/active walker. "Yes parking is difficult but once you are parked you don't ever need to move your car as you have direct access to a ferry port and can travel to virtually any town that borders como di lago. Absolutely incredible experience seeing this beautiful and quaint corner of the world I highly recommend this stay for anyone who wants to have an authentic Italian experience"

Parking is a bit of a challenge but it’s not terrible you just need to orient yourself in the area because there is lots of parking a very short walk from the property. Angelo is an amazing host. "The view from the rooftop terrace is wonderful. The apartment itself is great. It met all of our needs. The communication with the owners was easy, and the check-in/check-out process was a breeze. "Pro's and cons: Pro's first: good location, a short drive from Luino, a good sized lakeside town. You can take ferries from Luino all round the lake, including to the Borromean islands. You'll have to spend some time aquainting yourself with the ferry timetable and a map of the lake. Nothing much goes on in Dumenza itself. There's a small supermarket that we didn't actually have to use, as we shopped out and about in the bigger towns. There is somewhere to get a coffee in the morning if you...
