"The apartment is located in an old hotel but the location & condition of the very large apartment was very good. Driving to all the villages in the Engandine was a beautiful experience. The location is excellent & many restaurants are available within 5 miles ."

"This generously sized duplex apartment is clean, warm & spacious. It is conveniently located beside the Magnolta ski lift and directly beside the local public swimming pool which was ideal for us. There is a free daily ski bus shuttle that runs on a half hour basis throughout the day and this stops outside the swimming pool. The host is contactable and very pleasant to deal with. We would recommend this accommodation without hesitation. :-)"

"Two weeks spent in the Valtellina at the height of summer. The house was ideally situated for exploring the various different small valleys that lead to the high mountains encircling the valtellina. The house is in a quiet neighbourhood with little or no distractions. Everything in the house was as expected and we echo the recommendation to eat at the rifugio Mello."

"Ontvangst was hartelijk. De woning heeft een pleintje voor (met hek omheind) en achter tuintje. Het tuintje achter stelt niet veel voor maar je kan er natuurlijk ook zitten. De kamer/ keuken is klein maar van alle gemakken voorzien. De slaapkamers zijn beslist groot te noemen. Beneden met badkamer. Op de tweede verdieping is nog een grote badkamer ( en wasmachine) en een groot balkon. Op de derde etage is nog een grote slaapkamer met airco. Because the unit is tiny, there are steep and narrow stairs to the loft and the bed is only a full size. "Love the hotel embedded within older buildings within Tirano, yet still fully contemporary. Great location. Very spacious room, and enormous bathroom. Superb brrakfast, especially all of the local cheeses, fruit juices, yogurts, etc. The only reason for 4 atars rather than 5 was just how hard the bed was. For a side sleeper that us unbelievably uncomfortable and making for a more restless night. For mu stomach sleeping husband, it was perfect."

A jewel in a charming city

"Hotel Centrale is a jewel hotel. The staff at reception, Giovanni and Irena, were friendly and helpful and it showed that they really care about their guests having a great stay. The room was a good size, the bed was comfortable and the washroom was very clean. They served a very good breakfast.The location was within walking distance of the train station and excellent restaurants. It was a good starting point for walks around the beautiful city. We would highly recommend this hotel."

"Loved staying here! We don’t typically stay in hostels but this place was excellent! The staff was super friendly and helpful! We had a private room with shared bathroom and showers. The bathroom and showers were super clean and the showers had great water pressure and heat. The spa in the pictures is not included it is additional, but it’s a nice option to have. The shuttle is really nice and the driver is great! The view from our room was incredible. We wished we were staying longer. Wish there was coffee and tea in the rooms. Breakfast was pretty good. Dinner at the Swiss restaurant was pricey but very good. Very happy 10/10 recommend!"
