Quiet and bucolic location
"Our stay was in mid-March and the hotel was very quiet at that time. Our room on the ground floor was very convenient for the hotel pool which had a hot tub and sauna. Lovely house
"We loved the house and the area. The house was good for my daughter who is a wheelchair user. It would have been perfect if there hadnt been a drawer below the sink. The beds were comfortable too."

Restaurants can be busy at weekends so consider booking. Ospreys at Threave Castle must see. Red kite viewing at Bellymack Farm also essential. Loch Arthur farm shop and cafe great for lunch or coffee break.
