"A unique vintage residence to stay at near Nelson BC. Spacious - we liked that bedrooms were on the corners of the house to give some privacy. 2.5 bathrooms were handy as well. Dining was great for meals and games. Backyard was very pleasant and had plenty of sunshine and shade options. Hosts were very responsive!!"

"Place was great and as advertised. Though likely because of the previous renters we did encounter some issues. Hosts were still there cleaning at check in time and did arrive before check out. The hot tub and pool were not ready for us as they had to clean and drain the tub so first day was off use. Otherwise place was as advertiesed and if not for the crazy amount of wasps in the overall area not just the home it would have been a perfect spot. "

"My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It is a lovely walk downhill to downtown. The hot tub in the garden was a real treat to relax in after a long drive. At the apartment we had ample space and everything we needed was there including laundry facilities. I would happily stay here again if we are ever in the area. Good communications from Andrew, the host, too."

"Unique, gorgeous, newly built home, with plenty of room for everyone! We loved the various decks and the large glass door in the eating area."

"It's a great house for a large family or group of friends. We had so much fun exploring the area and hanging out playing games and enjoying the views. We did ziplining, caving and hot springs nearby, rented a pontoon boat for a day on the water and there were still things that we wanted to do but ran out of time. I guess we'll have to come back next year. The golf courses nearby looked amazing."

"Beautiful place .. well stocked with everything in the kitchen .. appreciated the many coffee makers .. the lockers at entry .. plenty of room .. beds upstairs very comfy .. . not a real ski in ski out that we have experienced at other properties .. perhaps better with more snow .. did not appreciate the 14 hours it took for the hottub to get at least to 100 from ice cold when we arrived .. and over chlorinated.. very tiny garage door so our vehicles didn’t fit.. had a fun time."

"This house and property exceeded our expectations. The house isn’t visible from the road and the property is a hidden gem in the little town of Ymir. We loved staying here and the details that were put into the house and property are done with real care and intention. It was hot while we were there, but the house is well built and insulated, so even though it doesn’t have any A/C, it holds its temperature and cools off at night when the windows are open. "Great property. Clean and spacious. Lots of things for the kids to do. The zipline was a huge hit. Hot tub was amazing and very clean. Was right beside some incredible mountain biking. There was also a fantastic running path right down the road that dogs can run off leash. The house itself was perfect. Lots of room for the kids to play and sleep comfortably. The ping pong table was also a nice touch. Would definitely stay here again. Probably one of the best houses we have ever rented on VRBO."
