"This place and the surrounding area are amazing in my opinion. I learned the hard way, but you deff need a car in this area. The towns all around are cute and have a nice old school charm. And Lismore castle and gardens are amazing. Just wish the lord and lady would allow tours of the castle."

Why I just love the Imperial Hotel!

"I have stayed here before and absolutely love being here before Christmas! The decorating here is just so warm and beautiful that it really gives you that Christmas spirit. I also love the history this hotel is very rich in!! Absolute beauty, the food is amazing and tge scones in the coffee shop are to die for!! Definately a class act!!!"

(Much) Better Than Your Average Airport Hotel

"The hotel isn't far from the airport, but as the weather was being very Irish at midnight, the hotel sent their shuttle which appeared within 5 minutes. Night reception was good, got me a Guiness even though it was after midnight, The room was warm and comfortable, albeit with a small bathroom with no space to unpack your toiletries. TV great, bed comfortable room spacious. Breakfast was excellent. Aside from the friendly service, what separates this from other airport hotels is that the general ambience is one of a modern country hotel, with Chesterfields near reception (the washrooms are fantastic), cosy bars and lots of books lying around. Overall, excellent."
