"it was mostly quite parking was abit of a pain because you had to park on the next street up, would’ve liked to have been able to keep an eye on my car, had to share the kitchen But was mostly clean. "Great stay. Beth was really helpful and made sure our stay was enjoyable. Would book here again no question. The rooms are spacious and breakfast was very nice. Unfortunately the hotel wasn’t serving food in the evenings due to the coronavirus but the food from both the Hibernia pub and wavertree cafe was fantastic. "

"It was cheap - you get what you pay for. Shared bathroom and kitchen, which was expected based on price and photos, but not clear in details and another guest hadn’t assumed this and caused a big scene on check in. Wasn’t dirty, but could have been cleaner. Beds were comfy, but sheets smelt damp. Air con didn’t work in our room or another room that was empty. Free parking. Walking distance of the town centre which has takeaways. Kinda average stage. But cheapest around"

"The hotel is in an old building with a lot of character. Our room was spacious and clean. Food in the restaurant available on the dinner menu was reasonably priced and of good quality. Parking was easy with plenty of parking spaces available. The only downside is that the furniture, carpets, room doors, wallpaper etc. date back to late seventies/early eighties. Hence a refurbishment of rooms would be a good idea. "
