"The property is beautiful and in the off season the price was reasonable. The breakfast is over the top, lots of choices. The coffee was the only breakfast issue and the staff needs to be trained in this area, it was often cold or prepared improperly. The beach is wonderful but the area behind the lounges needs to be cleaned, it looked terrible. The construction on the port side was super loud and created industrial smell that was unpleasant. Because of that the pool on the construction side...

"I checked out September 25th so this is a review of the hotel as Cat Ba recovers from the typhoon. The hotel was clean and staff were friendly. The sky at and pool were damaged in the typhoon and were being repaired. Overall a good place to stay. "

"There were cockroaches in the restaurant, which I guess is ok since it is an island the the restaurant in outside. But there were also cockroaches in the dorm room. There were rats on the roof that would make a lot of noise at night. The breakfast was pretty good though and the view from the breakfast restaurant was amazing! "
