"Unable to get a hotel room so this was the only alternative. The RV was listed as big enough to sleep 4. Three would have been possible but 4 a stretch and there’s no way 4 people could have taken a hot shower. I got a lukewarm one day one (only in for several minutes) and my son’s was ice cold. Also the place was clean but smelled of stale beer. Also the AC ran constantly even though thermostat was set at 75 degrees. Place was frigid."

"This property provides a wonderful riverside stay on the New River right on the river with easy access and easy parking right in front of the cabin efficiency. Close access to to the Whitehorne Boat Ramp for those the need a ramp as well as the scenic McCoys Falls right up Rt 625. Communication and instructions was excellent to plan our arrival and stay for the weekend.We look forward to coming back again this summer."

"Loved this cabin. Loved the rustic feel. Loved the property. Loved the creek. We brought a hammock and relaxed all day, reading books. Saw deer every day and night. Our dog was in heaven. The bed was comfy and the sheets were so soft. Moncove State Park was 25 mins away. Perfect for relaxing while my partner fished! Amy is a WONDERFUL host. I enjoyed meeting her sister, Cookie, who made us feel so welcome! Will definitely be back."

"As a family, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gone Fishing Cabin and Zipline Retreat. From the moment we arrived we knew it would be perfect. The cabin was so clean and had everything we needed for our week long stay. "The host thought of every little detail to make your stay a breeze, down to wrapped toothbrushes! The fridge was stocked with juices, water and even milk. Coffee station with cereal and snacks. The bedrooms were comfortable and the home was very clean and so nicely appointed. Only minor want for our family would be a dishwasher. Other than that a wonderful place for any family to stay and recharge. "

"Dirty, stink bugs everywhere!!!!! Needs updating especially considering the price. Never again. Lights don’t work. Windows and doors don’t fit and are hard to operate. Again stick bugs everywhere!!!! Had planned a brunch for the grandchildren but had to cancel because the place was a disaster. I am pretty laid back but this was awful."
