"We arrived very early and they gladly let us check in. Property is at the base of the castle and a very short walk. The staff was wonderful and very helpfull. The landscaping/gardens are beautiful. This is a great property and you won’t be disappointed "

"Perfect location if arriving by train. We had a fantastic welcome and Sandra was very nice and clearly took pride in the property. The gite was spacious, comfortable, clean and well equipped. We walked to the old city with our 11 year old in about 25 minutes. The old city is magnificent! Having the cafe downstairs for breakfast was really easy. If we come back to Carcassonne we would hope this apartment was available."

Absolutely amazing home!

"This beautiful home is even better than the photos. It's situated in a beautiful, quiet town, 20 minutes from everywhere including Carcassone, Minerve, hiking, historic places and lovely food. The house has been lovingly rebuilt and decorated. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to cook some beautiful meals. The living areas are very comfortable. The two bedrooms are virtually suites with plenty of closet space and huge bathrooms. Perfect for a long or short stay. Ingrid was an amazing host, always within reach when you needed something. Thank you, Ingrid and Christopher for your generous hosting and your kindness when I was injured. A beautiful month in Caunes Minervois. Would highly recommend!"

A very comfortable house with splendid views.

"We could not fault the property. It was just as advertised and we loved it. Our only problem was with the management company who had not sent us the code for the electric gate. Fortunately we were able to squeeze through a gap and lift our cases over the fence. We also had to leave our rental car outside the grounds. We finally got through to the management company in the week, but fortunately the lovely pool man turned up on Tuesday and he gave us the code."
