"We try to stay here whenever we're in Saffron Walden, visiting family. We are very pleased with the property and the helpfulness of the owner and housekeeper. My only word of caution to prospective guests is that the narrow, winding staircase is not suitable for people with mobility issues, but that would be my only real reservation."

"Very close to railway station. We only stayed 2 nights but there ware foods and drinks ready to use which was very helpful. We didn’t need to go to get them and save time. I wasn’t informed but we had 2 bedrooms, my original booking was one bedroom so it was very spacious for us. Great stay, thanks!"

"This was a great property - really clean, great location, comfortable beds and clean towels etc. The property was a little "sparse" for my taste - not too homey feeling, but it was so clean and had everything that was needed. i would certainly stay again. The communication with the team House Luchini was fantastic - they were proactive and always answered any communication in a very short time. I was really impressed. "

"Hotel itself was lovely. Great location and was perfect for the event I attended.! Check-in was smooth, and was allowed to check in early which was fantastic. Sadly found the bed far too hard so didn't sleep well at all, and had shoulder ache from it! Overall happy with stay but thought it a little overpriced compared to other hotels in immediate area. lovely bar next to it, and sainsburys/greggs also next door for any last minute supplies/breakfast if not booked at hotel. "Brilliant place. Really lovely, modern decor. Rooms were great. Breakfast was outstanding. The pool/sauna is small, but fine. Gym is also small but with good equipment. There’s a bus and train station within the grounds of the hotel, so super convenient for transport into the city. There’s also a co-op shop, inclusive of Costa, on site. We travelled with kids and they were well looked after by the hotel. Also saw a lot of dogs around the place"
