Pleasant 3 mile walk through vineyards and around a lake straight from the Gite with more demanding and walks and hikes within driving distance....

"La région est charmante, le domaine est magnifique, le parc, la piscine et la vue sont plus qu'agréables. Les commerces les plus proches sont à au moins 15 minutes en voiture donc il vaut mieux ne rien oublier en faisant les courses mais c'est le prix à payer pour une tranquillité absolue. Les autres logements n'étaient pas loué, un autre pour notre deuxième semaine, c'était parfait pour nous. A voir la cohabitation quand tous les gîtes sont loués mais l'endroit est magique! Jean Pierre and Basanti were the most welcoming and attentive of hosts. "It does what it says on the tin, unpretentious delivery of what you need somewhere comfortable and clean to sleep. Some of the facilities are a bit plastic, but that's what you expect. Shower a bit small, but again what you expect. Very limited range of options for dinner locally - albeit food in (effectively self-service) Crescendo was good value."

Pleasant 3 mile walk through vineyards and around a lake straight from the Gite with more demanding and walks and hikes within driving distance. Carcassonne easy 20 minute drive from gite. About a hours straightforward drive from Toulouse Airport. We will stay again in the future."

Very nice.

"It's just a motel room really. Comfortable bed, pillow a little firm for me. Free air-conditioning and WiFi. Very clean and the lady on reception is lovely. There is some traffic noise but not too bad. It's situated on a industrial estate about 5km from Carcassonne. I walked it and the French don't seem to believe in pavements, don't do as I did and take the longer scenic route back because you'll have to walk in the road. I'd definitely stay here again."
