Great place for a fishing trip or a weekend getaway! This cozy little spot sits right on the Obey River in Celina. It is just 1 mile out of town and a short 5 minute drive from Dale Hollow Lake. This house has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and a full kitchen. Outside, enjoy 2 covered porches. One, of course, overlooking the beautiful and misty Obey River. Cabin was clean and conveniently located close to the lake. Being on the river was a huge bonus as well. Our stay was peaceful and quiet. The owner was very easy to communicate with. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

Visiting with dear friends
So thankful to have had the chance to share some time with a dear friend of mine and her husband (who grew up in Celina!) after working in Knoxville for the weekend. This was the perfect spot to (attempt) do some fishing and relax with friends. The fire pit was perfect for making s'mores!

Relaxing get away
Our grown boys were each able to get away from their jobs and join us. We all had a great time. Did some fishing on one of the prettiest lakes I've ever been on. Also enjoyed touring the surrounding area. Will be back.

Quiet place for a quick stay
A cute no frills cabin. Basics are provided such as toilet paper, paper towels and kitchen utensils. The back porch has a swinging porch over looking the river. A fire pit is great for relaxing evenings by the river and smores. Overall a good experience for a short term stay

Fishing for spring break
My husband, son, and I took a few days on school spring break to go relax and do some fishing. The place was perfect for that. It was quiet, right on the river, and only a few minutes from the Dale Hollow Dam and Lake so we went there for a few hours one day as well. Quiet for relaxing and close enough to town to go grab a DQ Blizzard since calories don't count on vacation, right!! The host, Jonathan, was so nice and very quick to respond. Thank you!!

Broken Shower Knob
The cold water shower knob came off in my husband’s hand. He fixed it but it was not as easy as just screwing it back in. Our friend had stayed there a few months before and said the same thing had happened and it was reported to the owner. I emailed the owner but never received a response. Also, the toilet paper supply was low so we went to the Dollar General and bought some. The cabin was cute overall but not ready for guests.

Very Nice Obey River Cabin
Cute and charming River Cabin that was super clean and well stocked, all this and a beautiful view of the Misty covered Obey Rive. This cabin is located very close to town and Dale Hollow Lake Marina. We enjoyed our stay and the host provided excellent information about driving direction and local eateries. Great choice and our Boston Terrier lived like a queen for two days!
