'JUST' up the Hill from Holly Creek Marina on Dale Hollow Lake

This traditional log cabin is 1200 sq. ft. nestled in the wooded hills of Tennessee. There are two bedrooms upstairs: one bedroom has a queen size bed and the other has two full size beds. The bathroom is on the main floor and includes shower and jet tub. The living room features two reclining couches, satellite TV, Sound Bar - Plays, DVDs, Blue Ray, (with movie DVD library) and large dinning/game table, all features centered around a large wood burning fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffeemaker and toaster. There is ample parking for friends, boats/trailers and other items. The large covered porch houses rocking chairs and a porch swing to enjoy as the birds welcome in the new day. Later, sit back enjoying the close of day as the fishermen head to the lake for the evening catch. COME ENJOY DALE HOLLOW LAKE!

The cabin is located is just up the hill from Holly Creek Marina, centrally located on the west side of Dale Hollow Lake, imbedded in the wooded hills of Tennessee on the Tennessee/Kentucky border. Dale Hollow lake has 620 miles of naturally preserved shoreline. Come enjoy Dale Hollow Lake's crystal-clear, calm water for your unlimited recreational opportunities: boating, wakeboarding, jet skiing, diving and fishing. Boat to any one of the eight restaurants on the water and take a relaxing ride back to your marina, resting up from the activities of your day. For the, off-water enthusiast, there are ATV/Motor cycle trails to be conquered, plenty of trails for horseback riding and Dale Hollow State Park's 18 and 9 hole golf courses that are ranked #9 by 'Golf Digest,' Best Courses You Can Play in 2010. For individuals who appreciate the value of past times, there are many of great deals to be found in the antique stores of the surrounding towns (From the cabin to the surrounding towns - Celina 8 miles; Burkesville 16 miles; Livingston 27 miles; Gainesboro 28 miles).

Very Comfortable stay
Kitchen well equipped and clean. We were able to do our own cooking easily. Sleeping accommodations comfortable as well. I would only recommend getting rid of 15 or more wreaths from the decor.

Super Quiet and relaxing stay
This cabin is wonderful. It was really quiet and peaceful. The porch was great to relax on, and we saw deer 20 ft away from the porch while drinking our coffee at dawn! The cabin exceeded our expectations in every way. Also, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the cabin has 500mbps down, and 500 Mbps up, fiber optic internet with WiFi-something we weren’t expecting. We definitely want to return! internet were

Pea Ridge Reunion
This was our 3rd VRBO rental this year. This is the only rental where bath towels and wash clothes were not provided. We had to purchase towels/wash clothes at the local DG store. House was clean enough. Not as much parking as we expected. Couldn't park our boat there. I expected a bigger yard for the kids but there is a fence right outside the back door. The location was perfect. Close to the lake and the reunion. Unfortunately my mother-in-law passed away on Friday morning 8/30/24 so we had to head back home EARLY on 8/31/24. Thank you

The cabin is homey. A few things needed in the kitchen. A cutting board for one. Wine glasses would be good. The grill needs maintenance. The house is showing signs of wear and tear but is still very nice The addition of internet was appreciated.

The cabin was so cute and cozy. Ken was amazing with communication. Right there at the dock. Only suggestion would be new mattresses just a little firm for me. All the necessities provided for you was a plus. Even coffee!!! Front porch was amazing and we spent our mornings and evenings there. Our family will be back!!

Get place to stay. The cabin definitely has the “cozy” feeling. I thought I was having a issue with the gas grill so I reached out to the owner who answered right away. We got the issue resolved. After checking out of the cabin, the owner called me personally to see if we were satisfied. That says a lot to me. I would definitely recommend this cabin. And it’s just up the hill from the marina. Will rent again.

Hot weekend in Holly Creek
We arrived to an 83 degree cabin. We contacted Ken and he got someone out first thing the next day to fix the AC. The cabin is quaint. Lots of flowers and country decor. Comfortable furnishing and very clean. Pictures are a little deceiving. The cabin sits right on the road and shares a gravel driveway with the neighbor. When you exit the back door their is a fence with it 5 feet of the steps. The front porch is lovely.

Relaxing vacation
Overall, we enjoyed the stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with supplies, which was great considering there isn’t a lot of food choices around. The neighborhood was quiet and those around us were friendly. There were some bleach stains on the sheets but didn’t seem to be dirty. It was decorated and had a real cabin feel. The only issue we had was the air conditioning wasn’t very cold. You could feel the cold air coming out, but it didn’t cool the rooms down a lot. Other than that, we would stay again!

Could not have been more perfect…
This place was amazing!! Such a beautiful cabin. Ken, the owner, is also amazing. He made sure that we had everything we needed and made hisself available any time of day. The cabin was quiet and clean. The marinas were super close. Highly recommend. The pictures did not do it any justice. We came around the corner and there it was. Beautiful!! We spent most of our days on the front porch in the rocking chairs and in the swing. We are hoping to come back yearly!! Thanks Ken!!
