De nombreuses visites de villes et villages dans les environs. Maison bien adaptée à notre famille avec grands enfants et neveux, moins bien adaptée à notre chien qui aurait nécessité un grand jardin clôturé. Be prepared with provisions and fuel when you arrive as the nearest shops are some distance away and likely to be closed at inconvenient times (for the English at least!). The only road into the village (3 houses!) is long and very narrow, testing the driver's manoeuvring skills in the unlikely event of on-coming traffic. We arrived at the start of Autumn with...

"The town of Murat was better than expected. Small cobblestones streets, old, charming houses. Many shops, cafes, restaurants. The nature around town is perfect for hikers and mountain bikers. Murat is also on the Circuit des Monts du Cantal The apartment was big enough for 4 people. Appliances are not recent but functional Overall clean but a coat of fresh paint wouldn’t hurt."
