Inviting 2-bed Cottage in Newcastle Emlyn
3.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (14)
"Myself, my 11 year old and our young dog spent our October half term on the farm and had a very lovely and relaxing stay. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, they respected our privacy and didn't mind that our dog was a bit excited by all the farm animals (all of whom had loads of character!) The night sky was beautiful although we only got one clear night to have a quick look at the stars - I'm sure it's absolutely breathtaking in the summer! The cottage was very clean and well...

Charming Cottage in the Gwaun valley, near Newport
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (40)
"We had a wonderful time. Cwmllan feels back in time in the best way. Some reviewers seemed critical of the water pressure from the spring-fed water system but this didn't bother us much at all. It's a place to go slower, not to be rushing around! Lovely neighbours and beautiful surroundings. Wonderful choice of walks and a good old-school DVD collection for cosy rainy nights in. Highly recommended. "

Riverside Apartment in the heart of the Georgian Town of Aberaeron

"We had a wonderful week at River Aeron Retreat. The property is extremely well equipped, comfortable and in a lovely location. The terrace is an added bonus and a lovely place to sit and listen to the river flowing by and to bird watch. Aberaeron is a very pretty town with an interesting heritage. It’s conveniently located to visit other places such as New Quay, Aberystwyth, Cardigan. All communications with Rhian and Alan were excellent with very prompt responses. Alan provided useful parking...

"My partner and I had a lovely week at this stunning cottage. Extremely peaceful, well equipped and clean. Martha and Charlie the dog greeted us upon arrival with a lovely welcome, chocs and wine. Although the cottage is on their farm yard property we didn’t know they were there at all!! We had three beautiful lamas at the end of the garden that our dog Pippa loved to watch as did we 😁.the views of the mountains and the sea are stunning. Ceridwen Glamping, Double decker Bus and Yurts
2.0 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very good, (2)
"A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. Will consider a revisit in warmer weather if we need a place to stay in the area in the future."

"My wife, dog and I stayed in the Parlour cottage at the end of August 2024. Please take note that they prefer cash or bankers transfer, Hotels.com does not take the money. It is so relaxing and quite, this is down to the hands off way of the owners, Martin & Kate. We arrived and found a wonderful welcome pack waiting of Bread, milk, eggs and biscuits. The cottage is well equipped although some mobile service providers, (Vodafone) do not cover the area. Locally there is a small shop come P.O....

Off The Grid Experience, Close To Nature, A Great Getaway, with great views
7.8 out of 10, Good, (14)
"I was misled by the search criteria - putting in dates i needed. Then booked in for different days. Yes, i should have checked. But i know my search criteria had correct dates and didnt know it would have offered outside criteria. Luckily one property was vacant and i was given that. I was grateful. BUT i have to say the cost was at least double to what would have been a fair Off grid is one thing, but for that expense i was expecting a shared fridge and some solar lighting/electricity!! Rip...

"If you are considering a trip to Wales, do not hesitate booking at stay here at "PLASNEWYDD". It was significantly more beautiful than the pictures in the listing. The house is warm, welcoming, and equipped with literally anything and everything you need to stay. You can tell that this is a HOME, not just a property put together for a rental.
