"Wonderful place to disconnect"

"Location is great off of old fisherman’s warf where whale tours depart. Would stay here again. Had a nice stay. I enjoyed the restaurant on site as well as the cafe-bakery. Crepes, bike rides, pleanty of souvenir shops close by, restaurant options all a short walk away."

"We had a corner room in the building on the street behind the main property. There was a large patio with amazing views of the town and the ocean. Even though it was January, we still sat outside to watch the sunset. On a chillier evening, we lit the fireplace for a cozy winter evening. The location is terrific - walkable to restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping in the town of Carmel. Typical free breakfast, but good enough to get a start on the day. The room was clean and quiet. I do wish the chairs, both at the table outside and the table inside, had been more comfortable. "

"It was everything we needed in a hotel with some added benefits like fresh oranges and lemons picked from trees on the property. We stayed for eight nights and most of those were quiet but there was some noise from other guests coming and going in the hallway. Because we stayed for eight nights we inevitably got tired of the same breakfast options every morning but then again breakfast was included. All in all, a good stay in a comfortable bed where we felt safe. Would stay again. "
