"Needed to get away for a mental health break. This is a lovely property near Rend Lake. The house is well maintained and comfortable. We had a nice, peaceful and relaxed time. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate for some time to visit the lake. My only suggestions, would be to add a digital antenna to get the local channels, we wanted to see local news to follow the weather and see some morning shows that we keep up with. "

"Wr had a wonderful time. The house was so spacious we could spread out and not feel like we were piled on top of each other. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds and baths were clean and comfortable. We were close enough to town to walk to restaurants and shops. This is a quiet neighborhood in a small town, but we spent a day in St. Louis, only an hour or so away. And the eclipse, what a bonus! We had a great family trip, and the house size and location was a big part of our great...

"Four of us stayed here for the eclipse. The place was perfect for our needs. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were a lot larger than I was expecting. The nearby trains can be a little loud, however the host was prepared with earplugs for sleeping and we all slept well. It is an easy walk to downtown and restaurants. I recommend La Fuente, or Joe's Pizza. My only suggestion would be for more comfortable chairs in the living room."

"After a long day of traveling it was very nice to enter this establishment. It was clean and modern. The staff was friendly and the check in process was quick and efficient. The room was spacious and had all the amenities one would expect. The hallways were bright and cheery. Plus the room was quiet. The breakfast in the morning was good and just like the check in process, the checkout was quick and easy. I would stay there again without hesitation."

"I mean given the state of the rest if the city and the price, it was pretty accurate. We had a couple towels that had stains on them and the toilet was wobbly. Overall, the room was clean and secure. We did not experience any other kinds of issues. Check in/out was a breeze. It's one of those you get what you pay for and while it was amazing, it served it's purpose."
