"We had 5 of us staying here for 10 nights. The property itself is a great size, so much room with all the amenities we needed. The garden was private and a great size for large groups. We couldn’t have wanted for better accommodation. It was an idea location for us driving between Reims and Paris for all the things we had organised. "

"Really great location for a stopoff between Calais and the Bourgogne. Especially convenient to have access via a key safe, as we arrived really late at night. "Nothing fancy but for the price you can’t beat that. We were 6 and slept comfortably. It was clean. Everything on the listing was there. Easy access with the lockbox. Super cute garden. The only thing was apparently check out was at 11 am but on my reservation it said 12 pm and I believe it’s because I booked through a British website so there was a time difference not accounted for. Great stay, great location, great staff.

"Excellent location in Laon. Husband and wife staff were extremely friendly and helpfull. We'd hoped to dine on site for our evening meal. Their restaurant was closed and they found us an alternative restaurant and made a dinner reservation for us. I was recovering from a cold and the owner prepared me a hot lemon honey and ginger drink to have before I went to bed. Even made me one the following morning. To some the hotel may feel dated, but out group of 8 loved the sense of history the hotel had. The building has heritage status and should I ever find myself back in Laon, I would definitely stay here again. "

"The area has very little public parking available, however the hotel has it's own secure parking for a reasonable fee. The person at the reception when I arrived was very pleasant and helpful. The room is small but convenient for an overnight stop. The bed was comfortable. There is a good selection of food for breakfast. All in all I was happy with my stay "
