"The recently refurbished (I understand) room was a generous size, and bed was enormous and comfortable. The view over the square was great, but this meant a few noise issues from passers by at kicking out time. The walk in shower was clean but lack of shelving for shower gel and shampoo seemed like an oversight. "

"We had a lovely Christmas 2025 at Smuggsbarn cottage. Plenty of room for two families and 2 dogs (party of 6). Definitely recommend. Location was perfect for visiting the Cotswolds. The cottage had all the amenities and equipment to cook a full Christmas dinner. Double check the bedroom layout worked well for us but may not work well for everyone. Would recommend booking the local wood yard to deliver logs for the wood burning or you can collect bags yourself like we do did. Would definitely return and hopefully the local village pub has re opened when we do. The Francis & Crab family’s from Farnham."

"Lovely cottage with a homely feel. Kate provided lots of thoughtful extras and was really helpful. The location was perfect for us, we loved Cirencester and the surrounding villages. Lots of parking, WiFi was faster than mine at home. Would definitely recommend. "
