"Nothing like the pictures when we booked. Very shabby accommodation. One indoor very crowded pool and No facilities on site, you have to go int Saumur which is a lovely city. You have to pay extra for bedding . Beds uncomfortable and furniture all very old. Definitely not worth the money. "

"Owners/hosts made us very welcome and on hand to help when required. Cottage was ideal for what we were looking for - self contained, quiet, private, secure parking and great base for cycling both sides of the Loire and very quiet back roads. Very large garden space front and back was a bonus. All made it an excellent weeks stay. "

"Well equipped beautiful cottage in the Loire countryside. Very Clean. Owners are very welcoming and friendly and have a vineyard 1/2 an hour away - worth the trip and the tasting. The house is close to Saumur which is lovely and has lots to see and do, including nice restaurants and is well located for visiting some famous historical sites like Chinon and Fontavraud Abbey. a very relaxing break."

"Charming very clean little wooden chalet with a lovely view over the lakes from a large balcony with sunloungers and a table for 6. Set on a small family run camping site it is in beautiful grounds. "We had a wonderful holiday in Denée. Gite is down a country lane, away from things. Met by the owners who had limited English but were absolutely lovely. Gite is a great size and for the first time in any property we had plenty of crockery/glassware/cutlery! Garden is lovely with undercover eating area and barbecue. All very relaxing. Short drive to lots of chateaux, wine tastings and river beaches. Kayaking down the Loire was a particular favourite trip. Would recommend this gite...
