"The hosts, Flo and Caro, were most welcoming and helpful. The rental is an entire floor in their renovated farmhouse - separate from the family's living space. It was so comfortable, so well-equipped. The village is small and rural, but very close to the larger town of Salins-le-Bains. The scenery is spectacular. Many local hiking trails nearby. We stayed for almost four weeks. It was very healing. We would definitely book again."

"Lovely little cottage in a peaceful location in Métabief area. Host was very communicative leading up to our arrival and made us feel welcome. Cleaning was arranged prior to arrival and they kindly gave us access to everything at the property. Great base for visiting Jura region and lakes north of Lake Geneva. Lake Neuchâtel is about an hour away and we visited Chamonix which was about 2 1/2 hours away."

"What a perfect holiday destination! We loved the whole ambience of Chateau de la Loue. We were warmly welcomed by Pierre to a beautiful and generously equipped home and we all felt comfortably at home. There was plenty of space both indoors and outdoors for family fun and games. We weren’t presented with a list of do’s and dont’s. "Overall, we were very satisfied with the property! The location was very quiet, beautiful views. The house and pool were foreseen with all necessities and was clean. Due to a storm, there was no WIFI connection available, which we didn't know about up front, it would have been good to have been updated on this as some people in the group had some work/studying to do. We would however definitely recommend this house if you want to have a nice holiday by the pool."

"Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. Le contact avec le propriétaire très agréable. Rien à redire sur la propreté malgré la présence d'animaux de compagnie. Juste une remarque : l'escalier ou plutôt l'echelle n'a pas de rampe ni d'éclairage, ce qui est dangereux. Nous en avons parlé au propriétaire qui nous a assuré arranger ce problème. "DON’T BOOK!!! The host cancelled the stay 2 hours before checkin after I had already landed in Vegas on the busiest weekend with all other hotels booked. I had to book another hotel & pay nearly quadruple what I would normally have paid. And then they refused to answer to refund the stay for days. $1300+."

"We were very happy staying in this wooden chalet. We loved sitting outside, listening to the cowbells, and watching the red kites and other birds of prey in the sky. We visited some beautiful villages and scenery. The buffet meal at Le Relais Medievale in Nozeroy was enjoyable, with homemade cooking , and busy with locals eating there."

"Amazing property. We had a delightful two night stay. The only negative was the breakfast, which it is overpriced and you better wake up early or you risk not being even seen by the limited and overly busy attending personnel. The second day we sat at our table for more than 30 min unacknowledged. At that point we left and had breakfast at the local boulangerie."
