"This house was perfect for a group with multiple families, with each room having its own bathroom. Also, lounge and kitchen areas were sizeable. Excellent kitchen facilities and ample cutlery and crockery as well as 2 dishwashers - made a huge difference not having to worry about running out of anything. Pool area very nice, pool good temperature, large bbq and plenty of room for a large outdoor table. Hot water issue was fixed very promptly. Only minor complaint was that the pillows were...

"A ten minute stroll along a pleasant street takes you to the bridge. Cross it and you are at the foot of the delightful town of Blois. There are two small supermarkets on the street, and lovely walks along the river so east to spend days without driving anywhere. Also many, many beautiful towns and chateaux to visit within an hour's drive. The cottage is well-equipped and very comfortable. We would not hesitate to recommend."

"Precious little farmhouse in a village not far from Blois. Marie-Claire and Marie-Claude were both very attentive and gracious hosts. Upkeep of the house could have been a little better but considering it is a 400+ year old house it was quite pleasant. It would be nice if the history of the house was posted somewhere. Would have loved to know how this house was used back in the day. Overall enjoyed our brief stay."

"Beautiful country house with lovely architectural features inside and out surrounded by meadows and woods. Close to many other lovely Renaissance castles, romantic little towns and- of course - the Loire. "This was a great base for a couple of nights to explore part of the Loire Valley..The little village about 3 km away - Chaumont-Sur-Loire - has several good restaurants, and other shops. The house was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, good sized rooms, and well equipped. The only thing lacking during the hot weather was a fan, so we decided to buy one at the supermarket, (which we have now also used at our next accommodation) Lino was very welcoming and we would happily stay again."

His very quiet, well-equipped, retro-chic apartment and patio garden, on the left bank of the Loire, two minutes from restaurants, grocery shopping, is the best for biking to nearby chateaux: Chambord, Chaumont, Cheverny and Blois, of course. "This really is rural. It is in the middle of a forest down an unmade road 2 km to nearest village. It is a beautiful location. Host are generous and welcoming. "A Beyond Five-Star Experience at Fleur de Loire. My family and I had the most extraordinary vacation at Fleur de Loire, a hotel that epitomizes luxury and sophistication. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with unparalleled warmth and care. The gracious hotel manager, Ms. Lucie Jarry, personally welcomed us and provided an exclusive introduction to this magnificent property, leaving an indelible impression on us from the start. We stayed in the family two-story suite, which was not only perfectly suited to our family of four but also an absolute delight. The spacious layout, thoughtful design, and playful charm made it an unforgettable part of our stay. The hotel’s thoughtfulness was truly exceptional. Prior to our arrival, we mentioned that it was our daughter’s 10th birthday. To our delight, they surprised her with a beautifully crafted chocolate dessert and a charming stuffed animal, creating a magical moment that touched our hearts. "Every staff member was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. Suggestions for dinner were perfect. Breakfast, 9.5 euros, was outstanding. A large buffet of fresh choices. Excellent coffee. The hotel is an easy walk to the Château, the river, shops, and dining. Nearby local restaurants were excellent and reasonably priced. We will be back. Highly recommended. "
