"A beautiful location at a golf club. Out our balcony we could see golfers below and the backside of Mont Blanc plus other mountains above. The staff was friendly and helpful, complete with drawing me a map so that I could find the *free* tram (with hotel voucher) back to Chamonix. A couple of good restaurants nearby. "We stayed in this hotel as part of a trip around France and this was our favourite hotel. Friendly service, we loved our family room and the restaurant is fantastic with great options for kids and adults. Breakfast is wonderful too. Breathtaking views of Mont Blanc from the window."

"A beautiful hotel in a very quiet and secluded area. Very friendly staff that offered us a free upgrade and great advice about what to do and where to hike. The restaurant is also wonderful with probably one of the beat wine lists I've seen. Bravo! You must have a car to get to this place however. If you want to be close to Chamonix (but not IN Chamonix) it's perfect!"

"Good stay in Chamonix. Check-in at 1700hrs is quite late and ahould be revised. As a seasoned traveler this is the first time I've ever seen such a late check-out followed by a 1000hrs check-out. Grateful that the check-out was extended to 1100hrs and yes the check-in time is indicated when making the selection for the hotel but just unfortunete. Overall nice stay at Balcon de Savoy."

"This is great value. The location is not as close to the buses as some of the others, but it is still in Chamonix Centre and close to everything. If you like Apres-ski parties, this is THE place. Amazing good times at Chambre-Neuf, until 8PM. The ideal room location is NOT the top floor, which is basically an attic, and not above Chambre Neuf - it rocks so loud that we were on the fourth floor directly above and could hear the bass/drums below.
