"I really enjoyed staying here! It was close to a lot of restaurants and a few markets. The area within the hotel was beautiful and staff were very friendly. The air conditioner didn't seem to blow as cold as it was saying, but overall the room was comfortable and clean!"

"The hotel is nice with a great location for NewYears Eve party and fireworks. The place is dated (pool, spa, fitness, bathroom, windows) but provided good service when requested. For the price of the hotel, breakfast should be included. I would stay here again, especially for New years Eve. The Sunday Night market is without 5 minutes. "

"I was directed to my room, the bed wasn't made room, and full of litter from previous occupant. I complained and was given another room which was barely acceptable. I did stay, purely because I was shattered after 26 hours travelling without sleep. 1st thing I did next day, search for new accommodation!! I wouldn't stay here again if they paid me, filthy and unfriendly!!!!"

"Stayed 4 nights at Banthai Village in the deluxe room near the pool. It is a cozy boutique hotel away from the bustling streets yet safe and walkable to old city, Chinatown and the night markets. Excellent hotel to enjoy quiet sleep, greenery and staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel provides mosquito repellent but still got bitten outside the room especially during rainy days. Floor in the room can be slippery but slippers are provided. Water pressure from the shower head is inconsistent....

"A truly awful experience at the most poorly stocked vacation property I have ever rented. The property overlooks a terribly rundown neighborhood. Upon arrival, the front door lock was broken. The woman at the front desk argued with me for 20 minutes before calling a locksmith to do the repair. The fan for the A/C in the bedroom was barely blowing even at the highest setting.
