"This is such a cool place. Great AC and WiFi. The private trails around the property are incredible and back up to a river. Feels very secure. We found kinkajous, squirrel monkeys, coatis, snakes, frogs all around the property. Absolutely must stay here if you like exploring nature on your own, especially at night."

"We were in Drake Bay for three nights for a couple of days of diving with our two adult children. The house was perfectly situated, lots of space, and an amazing covered deck area with an afternoon breeze. Everything went very smoothly from first communications through to check-out. Overall we have no hesitation giving this house five stars."

"We had a wonderful time in Carate, and this house was the ideal home base for all of our activities. We saw scarlet macaws and toucans regularly and were fortunate enough to see a tapir pointed out by the very helpful property manager and tour guide, Yeri. The house has simple but impressive amenities for how remote the area is. The drive to get there is an adventure in itself but you could not be closer to the park once you arrive! "Very cute house, centrally located within walking distance of the beach, stores and tours. Very clean, good a/c (only in bedrooms), well equipped kitchen, good internet. The pool is much smaller than it looks in the pictures, but it's pretty deep and the kids still enjoyed it a lot. The masks and snorkels were a nice bonus. It's a little hard to find but that's down to Waze being inaccurate in the area. All in all we had a great stay and definitely recommend!"

"The staff especially Maria was fantastic and so is the dog Maya. Maya will even go for a hike with you if you pet her and show a little attention. The trails on the property are expansive and beautiful. My son Maya and me went on a three mile hike and was still on property grounds. The bird viewing tower is an excellent place to see dawn and dusk when the tropical birds are most active."

" Our stay in Costa Rica was absolutely magical! The views were breathtaking—every morning felt like waking up in paradise. The owners went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home, even accommodating my limited dietary needs with such thoughtfulness and care. We stayed in the honeymoon suite, which was a perfect choice for a romantic getaway. The room was luxurious, and the attention to detail was outstanding. Our bed was remade twice a day and turned down each evening with a small candy left for us, which was an incredibly sweet touch. One thing to note is that after arriving at the international airport, you need to take a smaller plane to reach the area. We were slightly unaware of this at first, but with a little planning, it’s perfectly fine. The lodge takes care of everything—they pick you up at the smaller airport right away and take you straight to the property. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a welcome drink and snack, which was such a lovely and thoughtful way to start our stay. The staff were all so kind and attentive. They were always on time and made everything seamless, from escorting us to our excursions to checking in daily to ensure our experience was exactly as we wanted. Having someone guide or accompany us to each activity added such a personal touch to the trip. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that exceeded our expectations. We felt so well cared for and genuinely appreciated. I would highly recommend this place to couples! "
