This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

Getting Around:
You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

There were some cleanliness concerns, mostly with kitchen dishes and utensils. Kitchen light didn’t work. Saw a few bugs in the place. Communicated these to the owner but they were not resolved during our stay. Overall the place is old but condition okay. Liked the location.

Great location! Lots to walk to close by and an easy uber to everything we wanted to see including Folly Beach and Boone Hall Plantation. Easily slept 6 adults and beds were very comfortable.

Our unit was nestled in the heart of it all. Easy walk to King St with shopping and restaurants galore. The upstairs unit was filled with quirky original details and was very comfortable. Perfect size for 4 people.

We all enjoyed our stay here very much. The home was clean and historic with plenty of room for the 5 of us. The air condition and shaded porch was a welcome retrieve from the heat of the summer. The property was in close proximity of everythere we wanted to do while in Charlston. If we visit again, we will definitly return here!

Just came to town for work and wanted to be a little closer to all of the action. Comfy beds, good WiFi, easy parking access… that’s all I needed. Easy walk to resultants close by, I was with my aunt so we ubered to our destinations which were quick 10 minute rides. It is an older home but isn’t that part of the charm of the city? Slept surprisingly well because the king bed was so comfortable, surprising because it can get loud outside of the house with traffic and construction.

While this house is clearly very old it was well kept and comfortable. Do not expect new and shiny in this area of town but the charm and history is unparalleled. We really enjoyed the stay.

The house was as advertised and it was in a great location. My only complaint was that the air vents were dripping from condensation but they did have a dehumidifier to help with that

House with 2 car parking spaces is in good location, walking distance to center. Very clean. Only disadvantage is teeny-tiny bathroom. Wouldn’t recommend for more than 3-4 people. The 3 of us did enjoy the stay very much.

The property was in a great location. Great parking. I would warn of noise level - it’s an old house. Also would have more kitchen supplies for cooking in and towels. Otherwise, it was a great stay.

This location is walkable to the heart of things. Near King St and Just 25 min walk or about a mile and a half to everything. Coffee shop 3 blocks away. Old historic house so don’t expect new :)

I stayed here for a girls weekend with two old friends. The booking, check-in, and check-out processes were all very clear and friendly. The location is great - a nice walk from the big sights around South of Broad, the French Quarter, etc. Also, the neighborhood itself has good restaurant options in a very close walk - we enjoyed Fuel Cantina, and were sorry to miss Chasing Sage (closed Sundays). The unit was exactly as described and was clean and comfortable with easy parking. Would return!
