We had a nice stay. Did not realize there was a $35 fee daily for amenities I guess we should have used those amenities more. They need to hand out little cards saying that you get $10 off of breakfast because we did forget when you come in Traveling and they rattle off a bunch of stuff we did not remember the $10 breakfast per room so we wasted that $30. $50 day parking. Nice pool to relax by, coffee shop. $8 muffin. I guess it is Charleston though everything is probably a little bit overpriced.

Very nice stay. We enjoyed everything this hotel had to offer. Only one issue with noise because our room was facing the courtyard. The bar was playing music that was very audible when trying to sleep.

The Ryder is a fantastic hotel! The location is perfect - walkable to many things in Charleston. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the sitting area off the pool is serene, the pool is such a wonderful place to relax and have a cocktail or breakfast, the food is delicious, and the rooms are comfortable. One unique feature is the shop where bikes, coolers, cameras, etc are for guest use! Definitely aplace to stay in Charleston and we will be back!

This hotel was close enough to all the attractions around Charleston but when you are in your room or lounging in the pool area you feel that insulation from the outside to allow for relaxation. The hotel is clean, comfortable and modern. The theme is beach but there’s no sand and grit. This is a perfect place to stay for a long weekend get away for couples or friends. There is a fantastic patio bar that has knowledgeable and competent mixologists and it has that nice lounge feel without the creepy hotel bar feel. I would definitely stay here again. Funny enough our trip originally had us staying one night and then changing hotels to stay in another part of the city. When we checked into our next hotel we found it so disappointing and sad that I went online and booked the rest of our stay at the Ryder. We check out of sad hotel and went back to the haven where we enjoyed the rest of our trip.

The hotel was cute, great place for a bachelorette weekend. I like that the rooms did not have carpet. Nothing dates a room more than stained carpet. The Little Palm restaurant was good. They offer inside and outside setting and there are three bar areas, one of these is by the pool. Downside there was a dog in the hallway that would not stop barking. I tried calling room serve and could not get anyone.

Great place to stay. Fun vibes all throughout the property. The pool is a little small for how popular it is. We had a great time in the "backyard" which was a great size, great seating & great music. Only downside I had was going to breakfast in the morning. They asked if we had a reservation. We did not, I've never had to make a reservation for breakfast at a hotel I've ever stayed in. Since it is popular and on the smaller side i understand but we then had to venture out in the morning looking for breakfast options and had to hurry back to make check out time. I just think this should be noted to everyone when checking in.
