I can’t believe even begin to explain my dissatisfaction. I booked this rental after reading the reviews and thinking I found a good place to stay. Upon arrival to the home, the outside of the property was poorly manicured, although not my biggest issue. We got inside the house, and it was a beautiful home. It wasn’t the cleanest. But it was workable. We tried to take showers that evening and realized that we did not have hot water. We reached out to the property and we’re offered a credit on another stay. For all the money we paid that was unacceptable. They also offered to move us to another unit at 12am! I advised I was not moving my 94 year old grandma and 4 year old son across town 30 minutes to the other property, I appreciated the offer but it was not feasible. They sent someone out to look at the hot water heater and the tech advised that the water heater was not properly installed and that it could be leaking gas into the home. After speaking with the property team I asked for a 50% refund and they agreed, and they also sent someone out the next day to fix the problem. After the techs left again. We had hot water for all of 10 minutes. UNACCEPTABLE. On our last night in the stay, at 4am we began to hear footsteps in the attic, forcing us out of the home at 5 am 6 hours before check out. After it’s all over the property not Vrbo has done anything to make me want to book with them again. I have asked for a full refund and being told that I just to suck it up. Sad.
