Although it was a fairly easy check in and the place was clean. The kitchen was not as described at all, I thought there was supposed to be two bedrooms as described, there was not. There is a TV but it is not functional. There are quiet hours, it is not sound proof. It was fine for the night, but I won't be staying there again.

Nice but not as expected
The apartment was spacious, super clean, and the host was nice and responsive. However, the kitchen is not super well equipped (for example there is only one mug, only one knife, no cutting boards, only one small pot and one small pan, etc.) and there are a list of rules that are not advertised when booking such as no alcohol, quiet hours, no eating in bed, taking shoes off at entrance etc. The check in process was ok except we did not get check in info until after 3 which caused some confusion. Once we got the info, it was super easy to follow all the steps and the host made us feel at home. The location is great, the wifi is fast, and the neighborhood felt very safe and quiet. The power did go out a couple times though I believe that was due to the heat and not the fault of the owners. The location is not private nor sound proof as advertised but my partner and I did not encounter any privacy issues while there. If you are looking for an house on it’s own lot this is not for you as the apartment is in a duplex and the owners live above and you can hear them moving about. Overall, I would recommend this property as long as you are fine following certain rules and that you are aware that bringing your own cooking implements might be necessary and that you are not alone like you might be in other properties.

It is not what is advertise, it is not private its in townhome in the basement, its in a subdivision, it advertises full kitchen it has a hotplate on a counter, no spa or jacuzzi tub no cable antenna tv, no wifi, grass and weeds grown up in back yard neighbogs can see right into private back yard.

Suited our needs
The property was in a neighborhood where I felt safe to stay there. The bed was pretty comfy. Nice dining area and fridge to keep your drinks/snacks cold. Eveything was explained ahead of time so that there wasnt any confusion at check in. Owner was very responsive when I needed assistance. There were a couple of rhings I wanted to point out to the owner, just to better help them with their future stays. The TV was plugged in and accessible, but was not connected to any cable or tv to watch. The apartment was a little chilly upon arrival and no way to control the temperature from downstairs. The owner took care of it immediately and let us know there was a portable heater downstairs if we needed it. Overall, everything was clean and in order. The only suggestion I have is that there were white towels and rags provided- they smelled clean, but because they were white, you could see that they were very stained. Not the end of the world, but a turnoff when youre staying at someone elses place. Also, the clear, plastic shower curtain liner was dirty and needed to be switched out. Overall the apartment suited us for what we needed it for, but I think the owner will appreciate my honest feedback to avoid making the same mistakes with future guests.
