We appreciated the our apartment with a kitchen, clothes washer & drier and the bathroom with a large tub. This is a lovely spot to spend a few days! I would highly recommend. "

"Pretty good all round - clean, nicely appointed and comfortable but with one major flaw. The boiler works away all night and with a late night and then an early rise the next day was a little disappointing and made sleeping soundly very difficult. 9/10 with the exception of the boiler noise "

"Lovely clean property... absolutely loved it.. would like a clock but im a time person.. shower absolutely amazing... town center location stayed during england final didnt hear anything... only issue i had was booking.. i booked paid and didnt hear anything i called number which i advise do not call cost a fortune to brazil.. message and call the london number for apartment...spoke to a lovely lady.. think her nsmr was alexandra very helpful not had that for a while.. tv does not have normal...

"Great position in Newbury, very close to the main shopping street. Parking nearby was cheaper than onsite so we used that. Entry was easy with good instructions. It was very warm inside, we had to open the windows and turn off the heating. Nice and quiet in the building, we hardly saw or heard anyone else. Everything you needed for a short break was supplied. The bathroom with the tub, unfortunately, did not have a shower curtain or any way water could be prevented from splashing on the floor which created a compulsory cleaning up of the too much water on the floor after bathing. I thougt it was an oversight but it created unintended inconvenience, besides making the foot/floor bathroom towel too wet too soon. This should be an easy fix...

Wonderful stay.

"Wonderful spa stay for my partner’s birthday, the staff were AMAZING; really friendly, attentive and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. They’re a genuine credit to the company. Restaurant evening menu was excellent and very well compiled, the bar was convivial and again, excellent comfort food. We each opted for the wellbeing massage in the spa and it was money well spent, we both left feeling very relaxed. There’s no room service, but given the layout of the hotel (a lot of walking between rooms and kitchen / restaurant) entirely understandable. We will definitely return here. A great stay in very comfortable surroundings. Thank you so much for a terrific weekend!"

Lovely local hotel

"20mins walk from the station, use exit on platform 2 and taxi outside. (One way routes £8.00. Hotel is behind the main high street, turn left out of hotel cross the road, little ally way, takes you straight to the IVY restaurant, and high street, hotel staff were around, not overly attentive though but present, was kindly given an upgrade to garden view. Rooms were plain in design, shame giving the history but comfortable, bath with shower head, heated towel rail, tea coffee hairdryer,water. Breakfast is help your self, eggs,bacon, sausage mushrooms tomato toast, cereal, fruit yogurts , danishes. Small bar, a cosy lounge. Check in 15:00, you can leave luggage. We would go back. "

Great Hotel

"This is a great hotel, modern with comfortable and spacious rooms. Unfortunately on this occasion I had an issue with the heating in the room. The controls showed an error message and the heating wouldn't work. I reported to reception and they sent someone to look at it immediately. It couldn't be fixed so I was offered an alternative room but the maintenance guy said I could have a portable heater which he brought up and that was fine. These things happen and the problem was dealt with quickly so I was very happy with the service."
