"What a wonderful hotel. The exterior walls are original but everything inside is apparently new from 2020. So, you get modern electrical, plumbing, HVAC. The floors don’t squeak, the furniture is new but with old world charm. The perfect combination. The staff was friendly and adept at speaking English. The restaurant food was delicious and reasonably priced. "

"The property is absolutely stunning! The decor and finish is of such a high spec. The communal room is lovely and the pool and outside area is beautiful! "Truly beautiful location on the banks of the Dordogne in a small vineyard. We stayed here by chance as part of a longer road trip. We wouldn’t consider ourselves wine lovers but the free wine tasting session was really informative and completely changed our outlook on wine. (I’d recommend contacting owners - you often need a code for locked gates to get quai side - they don’t give you this information so you need to request it) we found the setting beautiful.
