The sound proofing on the windows is excellent and if you are in a room at the front of the building you need it. "Great stay, excellent location next to train station but facing away from crowded area. Directly next to tons of transportation - which is free for tourists! Breakfast was nice in gorgeous panoramic dining room. To clear up the piece about the dual front desks - the hotels are CONNECTED -its a 10 second walk to the other hotel. I didn't have the need to do so. Very happy with stay, will be back for sure. "

"The interiors and room quality is excellent. However the hotel is in a shopping and restaurant centre so it feels very odd and there is a great deal of external noise. Our very large window looks out on to a service yard... That said the location in town is good, so fine for a one night stopover."

"We checked in at the front desk and took an elevator to our room. We enjoyed seeing Basal the next day using free public transportation. It is a very nice town. We chose not to have breakfast, but I didn’t see where you could grab a cup of coffee. There was no coffee or tea in our room. "
