"Have stayed in many rentals and this kitchen was the best stocked have seen! Would work perfectly when you can be outdoors, but tight for the number of beds when it is too cold to be outside - just how it is in the historical lake houses. Owners are phenomenal, very responsive and thoughtful!"

"The house was immaculate, sunny and is well located. You can easily walk to Mayville and the TOPS grocery store or towards the lake. We stayed during a real hot spell so the only thing we wished we had was a room air conditioner in the second bedroom but all in all would absolutely recommend the property. And the communications once reserved were excellent! Very thorough and helpful."

"Good location, nice, quiet little town on north end of Lake Chautauqua. Short drive to Chautauqua Institute where we spent most of our time. Cottage was clean and cozy and had everything we needed. As a bonus the 4th of July fireworks were only a block away at the lake front and we could watch them from the porch."

"The home was clean and well stocked, though the tap water has a strong sulfur smell so bring some bottled water if that would bother you. There are squirrels making a home in the eaves and will chatter territorially while you sit on the deck, but they're cute.... noisy but cute. We had hoped to be somewhere near the lake, but the close by lake front areas were privately owned so there were no lake views nor lake access for walks along the shore. Kayaks were available but the canal was uninviting...
