"The location is great since it is close to the old town and walkable. The rooms are spacious enough and has the basic amenities that you need for short stays. There is a small kitchenette as well. The beds are comfortable even though the mattress is a bit soft and not too thick too."

"The city was fully booked and so we decided to give it a try: stay in a residency for retired people. Not only we were curious ;-D. Remember the ladies sitting on the bench and watching us arriving and unpacking – a bit like bird watching. And yes, we are a kind of exotic birds somehow – and so were they. The teens were grumpy about that, but we are closer to ageing and so: I find it such a rewarding idea from the management to rent out appartements for temporary guests and travellers. The...

"The apartment was immaculate with everything you need. The location is perfect in Dijon. One suggestion would be for directions in English on how to use the washer dryer. It was one of the reasons I rented an apartment. "

"Loved this hotel. Every member of staff we met was wonderful. Thank you! We arrived very early and hoped to be able to just store our baggage, instead we were upgraded and given an available room. It was incredibly thoughtful. The room had a lovely view of Dijon and was so cute in design. We loved the quirky furniture, and really fun design choices. The minibar selection was so unique… things we have never seen before and the little mustard gift was just wonderful! All the room amenities were great. The hotel itself is located perfectly between Dijon station and main centre ville. We used the spa facility and had fantastic massages and relaxed in the cute pool… sadly they don’t seem to have the glitter balls anymore (we were disappointed). This hotel is incredible value and a joy to stay…m we were tempted to extend our stay."

"Hotel Montchapet was a great find in visiting Dijon. It's on a quieter street a few minutes from the centre ville and the start of the route de la Chouette. I arrived before check in and the clerk let me drop my baggage off and then immediately printed off a city map and showed me various places of interest for me to explore on my first trip to the city. When I got back that evening, the staff checked me in quickly and efficiently. The room itself was comfortable and fairly spacious. The bathroom shower was a little cramped for me, but that's par for the course in French hotels. Generally a lovely stay in a nice location. Would come back."
