"Everything from check in to check out was excellent. The hotel is in a business area, so there isn’t much around it. There is a fee for parking, but it is in and out privileges. The self serve laundry was the only down side. It took several hours to dry one load of wash. The front desk receptionist was most helpful in all our requests and needs. "It was all good, not excellent but good. I had a tough sleep the first night, thin mattress, but then i got used to it. I got most of my garbage out but that in the bin. I told them when checking out, they didn't like it. I say this: you do nothing for your clients, no towel changes, no bed change nothing. You can AT LEAST take that one small bin garbage out. "Apartment was greay great, good size ,comfortable bed and hard floors. Unfortunately it was the lake of air-conditioning and the noise from outside that let it down. But if you want a central hotel near bars,restaurants and transport it would be hard to beat it."

However, upon check in, we were charged for 2 nights, despite said approval. "The hotel staff was amazingly helpful and kind. Our room was an "outside" room meaning it was not within the perimeter of the main hotel. Bed was very comfortable. On street parking availability was very challenging. To access the pool you have to pay an additional 20 euro per person which was a bit of a surprise."

"Hotel du Monde staff were very helpful on arrival. Our apartment was a 5min walk from the centre,so there was easy access to places for eating. Our apartment was in a beautiful old building and it was stunning to walk into.We had an equipped small kitchen, small living space with a terrace. The bedroom boasted a beautiful 4 poster bed with tv and a roomy en suite with a power shower. Toiletries were complimentary and smelt delicious! We returned to the main hotel the next morning for breakfast. The breakfast room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Staff were very friendly as they explained the breakfast food,which was the most varied and delicious spread ive seen in a hotel. There was a vast choice of cereals,yogurts ,breads,pastries or cooked food ,and teas,coffees and juices. Everything was just perfect. We only had one night in Nantes but we would love to return to see more of this beautiful city and of course,stay longer in Hotel du Monde. 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟"
